Vancouver Island Support Services is a public directory providing general information about third-party services and community resources.

This website does not provide medical advice, legal advice, crisis counselling, or emergency services.
If you are in immediate danger or need urgent help, contact emergency services in your area.
4) Directory listing accuracy
We aim to keep listings current and accurate, but we cannot guarantee that:
- a listing is complete, available, or up to date
- a service will accept a referral or meet eligibility requirements
- outcomes from contacting any service will meet your needs
Listings may change without notice. If you notice an error, use “Suggest an Edit” or email HealthEquityResearch@viu.ca.
5) Third-party links
Directory listings may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or privacy practices. Use third-party websites at your own discretion.
6) Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- attempt to access administrative systems or data without authorization
- scrape, harvest, or bulk collect directory data (including contact details) for marketing, spam, or unauthorized purposes
- submit false, misleading, defamatory, or unlawful content
- interfere with the site’s operation (including introducing malicious code)
We may restrict access or remove content submissions that violate these Terms.
7) User submissions (Suggest an Edit / Suggest a Listing)
If you submit content:
- you confirm it is accurate to the best of your knowledge
- you confirm you have the right to share it (especially personal contact details)
- you grant us permission to store, review, and use the submission to operate and improve the directory
We may edit, moderate, or decline submissions.
8) Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the website’s original content and design are owned by Vancouver Island Support Services or used with permission. You may share links for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce substantial portions of the site without permission.
9) Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Vancouver Island Support Services is not liable for damages arising from:
